From nut to material: nothing is lost

Two supply chains, zero waste: the fresh drink funds the valorization, the valorization multiplies the project.

COCO NOW! is built around two supply chains. Chain A imports young coconuts from Ivory Coast in refrigerated containers for the fresh drink and snacking: closed-circuit extraction, microfiltration, rapid chilling to +2 °C. Chain B buys mature coconuts and regional hard biomasses — argan shells, date pits — from importers and cooperatives in the Souss.

Every coconut consumed leaves material behind. Mature shells become machined cups and bowls, sealed by vacuum impregnation of plant-based fats. Bar residue feeds an oyster mushroom house. And the lignin-rich husk pith binds Souss biomasses into biosourced insulation panels — the project's priority development axis.

All under ONSSA approval and HACCP standards, in scientific partnership with ENSA Agadir and Cité de l'Innovation Souss-Massa: sensitive experiments are conducted off-site to guarantee the absolute safety of the food workshop.
